Promoting healthy lifestyles for all impacted by sickle cell disease

Supporting the quality of life for people with sickle cell disease

The Etta Pete Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation is a non profit organization established to work and support the quality of life for people with sickle cell disease. The goal is to involve the community and their families through education, networking, guidance and referral to needed support services.

Support Groups

Here at the Etta Pete Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation we hold monthly support groups for those affected by Sickle Cell Anemia and those that care for the impacted. The support group meeting is held every third Tuesday of the month at Huber Park at 6pm.

Past Events

At EPSCAF, we believe the best way to encourage understanding is through education, therefore we activelyparticipate in events where our local and greater regional communities are invited to learn more about Sickle Cell Anemia and individuals who are affected by it.

Resources

Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond events and support groups to help ensure individuals living with Sickle Cell Anemia have the necessary support to do their best living.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.

— Psalm 28:7
